CHURCH COLOURS:

Many people have asked why it is that we change the pulpit falls during the year, well read on:

Colours are used to recognise the movements and moods of the Christian year:

Purple for preparation and penance; white or gold for celebration and rejoicing; green for re-commitment and growth in Christ; red for the fire and power of the Holy Spirit.

In many churches a white pulpit fall & bible markers are used for the Sacrament of Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Infant Baptism.
